Research Interests: decision-making under risk and uncertainty, environmental management

Michael Springborn is an environmental and resource economist. He works on problems of resource management and decision-making under environmental risk and uncertainty. His work includes several areas of application including climate change, invasive species, disease, and fisheries. He utilizes econometrics, dynamic optimization, and Bayesian learning processes in his research.
