Research Interests: environmental public goods, resource use trade-off decision support, policy

Marc is currently an Assistant Professor in the Economics Department at Fordham University. During his graduate career at the Bren School of Environmental Science & Management, where he was a trainee in the NSF-funded IGERT Economics and Environmental Sciences program, he began to explore the ability with which policy mechanisms can increase the provision of environmental public goods. As a Research Fellow at the Woods Institute for the Environment at Stanford University, he expanded on these interests as one of the principal developers of InVEST, a software package aimed at providing information to policy-makers about the trade-offs associated with resource-use decisions, with a focus on ecosystem services.
