Research Interests: spatial modeling, incomplete property rights, urban economics, energy

Dan earned his PhD at University of California, Santa Barbara in 2007, and is now an Associate Professor at University of Colorado, Boulder. Dan’s primary research is in spatial modeling and the economic and ecological consequences of incomplete spatial property rights. He continues to pursue collaborative research with Chris Costello and others around not only around those core themes but urban economics, dynamic modeling and renewable energy.
